Copenhagen Denmark Weather

Copenhagen weather forecasts are regularly posted online in top Copenhagen online papers.  If you want to get there on a sunny or cloudy day check the weather forecast for the week.  You can check out the weather forecasts before booking a hotel room to make sure you are prepared for whatever the weatherman says.

The Seasons

At the start of the year, it's freezing cold in Copenhagen but tourists still flock to this part of the world because freezing or not, Copenhagen remains a top tourist drawer whatever the season or weather. Tourists who make a beeline to Copenhagen during the months of January to February have to contend with cloudy weather with rain, strong winds and night temperatures around 3°C.  Some days there will be drifting snow or sunny spells to break the tedium.

If the first few months of the year are too cold for your liking, choose the month of July, which is the warmest month.  Still it would be cold at 29°C.  The weather varies during spring and autumn.  During these seasons, the days may be warm or cold, sunny or rainy.   The winters are erratic.  There may be no snow today but the snow can be deep the next day.

Touring

The easiest way to travel from Copenhagen to Sweden, Germany, and neighboring Scandinavian metropolises is by direct train services to these areas.  Tourists prefer visiting Copenhagen first before taking off to nearby international destinations.

While in Copenhagen, tourists use the time to visit museums and palaces, promenade in the beautiful parks or treat themselves to sumptuous meals in restaurants and bars.  In the heart of the city, they can have an eyeful of the Amalienborg royal castle which serves as the royal's winter castle.  Tourists can tread on the ancient royal chambers open to the public or may get the chance to view the balcony rituals where the royals greet the people.

Whatever the season there are exciting things to do.  During the winter month or when there's snow, people leave the city for open and closed ski resorts nearby. To get to the skiing resorts, the hotel will arrange for your transport or show you how to get to the nearest drop-off point via the automated subway.  The metro transport links the city to urban areas in the east and west and tourist can us a uniform ticket for the all public transport in the city.

Accommodations

Copenhagen is teeming with hotels of every stars and stripes to meet the different needs of tourists.  To get a direct booking from your selected hotel, visit the hotel's website for their Copenhagen reservations.  Online booking directly accesses you to the hotel's room rates and tourist package promos.

Direct booking for Copenhagen cheap hotel is much easier than booking through an agent since the hotel will not have to pay hefty third party commissions.  Whatever the season, you are assured of a room and there will be no canceled flights in and out of the country just because of snow. Your Copenhagen holiday will always be a memorable one - rain, snow, shine, or cloudy skies.
